I began making my own panels in my garage, and in 2020, after months of trial and error, I shared them with other artists, whose excitement inspired the inception of Aspire Art Panels.

What mediums can I use on Aspire Art Panels?Aspire Art Panels are specifically designed for oil and acrylic paints, but are also compatible with various other mediums such as watercolor, gouache, ink, graphite, pastels, and charcoal.

Do I have to prepare my panel before using it?No, Aspire Art Panels are ready to be painted on without any preparation or additional layers of gesso. However, for optimal paint flow, we recommend applying a thin layer of linseed oil for oil painting or a flow improver medium for acrylic paint directly on the surface just before painting. Additionally, Aspire Art Panels are versatile and can accommodate additional groundwork or preparation if you prefer a more textured or altered surface compared to Aspire's ultra-smooth surface.
